Abby Low is a collector and dealer of antiques and original posters, who now runs a small venture “La Strada”, a small collection and sale of decorative antiques based in the UK.
The La Strada collection has a special focus on hand-painted antique ceramics from the 19th century and earlier, as well as a curated selection of original art posters.
“It is difficult to imagine how, in a space of thirteen centimeters on a side, the artisan could accommodate ideas and motifs of such expansion and plenitude, with such a wealth of ornamental means. These small works, if we look at them with love and calm, have a special capacity to capture attention, to provoke in us the pronunciation of encomiastic adjectives as happens to us when faced with major works of art. Some will wonder how they achieve this with so little space”.
